Who We Are

Our History

Founded in 2012 in response to the dramatic rise in global conflict and the child victims left in its wake.

DAWN Aid was conceived by its founder and his family who, after many years successfully providing risk management services to those operating in complex environments globally, was compelled to assist in a small way by tithing from his business to a charity focussed on child conflict victims.

The name DAWN was a product of a dream that occurred on one of the founders many overseas flights, with DAWN standing for Delivering Aid Where Needed.

Vision

To bring some light to the darkness of innocent child victims of conflict.

The Vision of the charity is to raise the awareness of those unknown and often unseen child victims of conflict, and in turn help to raise funds to add light and to alleviate the suffering of these children.

Our Vision is to support existing agencies and charities through donatations to their projects as well as developing our own projects to bring direct DAWN Aid aid to those who need it most.

Goals

To raise enough funds to support at least one project per year that meets the charity’s aims.

• To develop our own initiatives and projects no matter how large or small
• To raise awareness of the charity and the plight of child victims of conflict.
